WAMCPanel is an open-source, web-based Minecraft server management platform designed to simplify deploying, managing, monitoring, and maintaining multiple Minecraft server instances through a centralized dashboard.
Managing multiple Minecraft servers traditionally requires direct access to a VPS, command-line operations, manual configuration, file management, container administration, and continuous monitoring.
The challenge was to simplify these infrastructure-heavy tasks into an accessible web interface while still providing administrators with the control needed to deploy and operate multiple independent server instances.
WAMCPanel was engineered as a full-stack server administration platform that combines a modern web dashboard with Docker-based infrastructure management.
Each Minecraft server can be dynamically deployed and managed as a containerized instance, while administrators can control servers, monitor system resources, access real-time console output, manage files and plugins, create backups, track players, and review system activity directly from the browser.
The platform also includes automated VPS installation and deployment tooling, making it possible to bootstrap the required environment and run the complete application stack through Docker Compose.
Dynamically deploy, configure, and manage multiple Minecraft server instances with support for different server engines and versions.
Uses Docker and Dockerode to isolate and programmatically control individual Minecraft server environments.
Monitors CPU, memory, and storage consumption across the host VPS and individual game server containers.
Provides real-time server logs and interactive console commands directly from the browser using WebSocket communication.
Tracks connected players in real time, including player latency and operator status.
Allows administrators to browse, edit, upload, compress, and extract server files without directly accessing the VPS filesystem.
Provides an interface for managing and installing plugins for supported Minecraft server instances.
Allows server administrators to create, download, and restore server backups directly through the control panel.
Maintains a history of administrative actions to provide visibility into activities performed within the panel.
Allows administrators to update WAMCPanel, install dependencies, rebuild services, and restart container stacks directly from the dashboard.
Provides an installation workflow for preparing Linux VPS environments and deploying the application stack through Docker Compose.
Includes version indicators, update notifications, release notes, and changelog history directly within the application.
